Three-mode Four-C Chassis
Volvo's active chassis with Four-C has been further developed in the All-New S80. The driver has a choice of three different settings. Comfort affords very comfortable driving, while Sport is a somewhat harder setting for more precise driving. The third setting – Advanced – contributes to very sporty driving.
The system monitors the movements of the car in basically all directions. All information is analyzed by an electronic control module that adjusts the dampers instantaneously to counteract unwanted movements – ensuring optimum handling in all situations.

Interior Air Quality System with Humidity Sensor
Interior Air Quality System monitors incoming air for certain unhealthy gasses such as carbon monoxide and ground-level ozone. If necessary, it will temporarily close external air vents to shut them out. Meanwhile, an active charcoal filter prevents dust, exhaust particles, pollen and unpleasant odors from entering the car through the ventilation system.

Auto-Dimming Inside Rearview Mirror with Compass
Makes driving in the dark safer and more comfortable. The anti-dazzle mirror is stepless and automatically returns to normal when no longer needed. Integrated compass is activated via a button in the lower part of the mirror cover. When de-activated the compass is invisible. When activated it lights through a portion of the mirror glass in the upper right corner.
Rear Armrest-Mounted Dual Cupholders
 Easy-to-reach cup holder that installs in the rear center console. Holds two cups.
Power Windows with Auto Up/Down with Anti-Trap Feature
All four power windows feature both auto-down and auto-up; one quick touch of the button winds the window all the way down or up. An integrated load sensor helps to eliminate the risk of injuries.
Rear Seat/Trunk Pass-Through for Long Loads
 The center armrest in the rear folds forward to reveal an opening in the trunk. This opening enables you to carry longer items such as skis.
Four Reading Lamps
Reading lamps are located just above the center rearview mirror, mounted on the roof. There are lamps on the driver and front passenger sides. The rear also has two reading lamps – one for each side, located above the doors.
 Front Center Armrest
A center armrest is located in the front between the two seats. Lift the armrest to reveal additional storage space.
 Rear Seat Ventilation Outlets on B-Pillar
A climate air vent in each of the B-pillars, between the front and rear seats, significantly improves the climate in the rear seat, and helps to keep the rear side windows free from mist and ice.
Dual-Zone Electronic Climate Control (ECC)
Ensures you and your passengers always enjoy a pleasant in-car climate. It maintains the set temperature inside the car regardless of how the temperature outside changes. The driver and front-seat passenger can individually set the temperature for each side.
12 Volt Power Outlets (Front and Rear Seating Area)
The outlets are available for front and rear seats.
Speed-Sensitive Steering
Can be adjusted in three different steering force levels via the car settings.

Interior Cabin Light Delay

An entry light on both the driver and the front-passenger side lights the foot well area upon entry into the vehicle.
Luggage/Cargo Area Lights
There are lights located in the luggage and cargo areas. These lights turn on when you open the trunk or tailgate of the vehicle.
Electronic Parking Brake with Automatic Release
A newly developed electric parking brake that facilitates takeoff on steep hills. It is operated by a control lever beside the steering wheel.
Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel with Illuminated Cruise and Audio Controls
The height and reach of the steering wheel can be adjusted to suit individual requirements. This contributes to a comfortable driving position, and helps to make getting in and out of the car easier. The steering column has an advanced safety design. Both the upper and lower sections telescope in three stages in a frontal collision. This helps to reduce the risk of injury to the driver in frontal collisions.
The Illuminated Cruise and Audio Controls enable easier access to make adjustments to your speed and sound system.

Both driver and front seat passenger have door panel storage compartments.
